The Bulgarian Yachting Association is the Voice and Vision of Bulgaria’s yachting sector. We are championing professional, sustainable, and globally aligned yachting in Bulgaria and in the Black Sea Region.
The Bulgarian Yachting Association (BYA) is the leading organization dedicated to advancing Bulgaria’s presence in the global yachting industry. Established in 2024, BYA works to promote Bulgaria as a premier yachting destination, elevate industry standards, and support the growth of a professional and sustainable yachting sector in the Black Sea region.
With expertise in yacht operations, regulations, training, and sustainability, we advocate for an industry that aligns with global best practices.
In partnership with Sirius Maritime Group and as a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Shipping (BCS), BYA plays an essential role in shaping the future of the yachting industry in Bulgaria
The team behind the Bulgarian Yachting Association consists of professionals with long-standing experience in the maritime and yachting industry, whose mission is to unite the sector, strengthen the community, and position Bulgaria as a desirable yachting destination.

Founded by seasoned industry professionals: BYA was established by passionate yachting and maritime experts who recognized the need for a dedicated association to support and elevate the yachting industry in Bulgaria.
Driven by yachting innovation: Drawing on decades of international yachting and maritime experience, the founders set out to introduce world-class yachting standards, safety, and professionalism to Bulgaria’s growing yachting community.
BYA plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational, new build and refits, safety, and environmental standards across the Bulgarian yachting industry.
Through ongoing education and networking, BYA empowers newcomers and experienced professionals alike to succeed in the global yachting arena.
